The future of the Hudson Yards site on the West Side is still in limbo as the Metropolitan Transportation Authority continues to delay the release of a request for proposals. At a May 8 meeting to release the development guidelines for the 26-acre site, MTA officials said the RFP would be released by the end of May. At the same meeting, MTA and Hudson Yards Development Corporation officials outlined a process that would have developers submit bids by September, with a joint MTA/city committee reviewing proposals, and selecting a developer, in the fall.
