Kalikow buys out Manhattan House partner

Richard Kalikow has bought out his Manhattan House development partner Jeremiah W. O’Connor Jr. Kalikow and O’Connor purchased the 583-unit Upper East Side rental in 2005 for $623 million and have been engaged in a legal battle over the building, which is being converted into condos. Manhattan House tenants, meanwhile, recently filed a lawsuit alleging that Attorney General Andrew Cuomo should not have approved the $1.1 billion condominium offering plan because of the owners’ “defective certifications.” TRD
