Coney Island land swap proposed

Deputy Mayor Dan Doctoroff has proposed a compromise to get stalled plans for the redevelopment of Coney Island moving again. Under the plan, developer Thor Equities would give up its 10 acres in the amusement district on either side of Stillwell Avenue, which the city could sell or lease to amusement park operators.
