Coney Island talks stalled

Talks over keeping Astroland Park open at Coney Island next year remain stalled. Developer Joseph Sitt of Thor Equities seeks $3 million rent, while the park wants to keep paying $170,000. Sitt paid $30 million to Astroland operator Carol Hill Albert for the park property last year. Sitt has proposed a $1.5 billion year-round entertainment complex. more [Post]
