Police reportedly say that murdered broker Linda Stein let her killer into her Fifth Avenue penthouse apartment, where she was bludgeoned to death Tuesday. Police have cast a wide net in their investigation, and have reportedly questioned an ex-boyfriend and a former assistant and are looking for marijuana dealers. Friends recalled Stein as a tough competitor and a loyal friend. Stein was listing a duplex that Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley combined and then sold to Sting.
