Manhattan office rent growth slows

Average office rents in Manhattan rose only 1.4 percent from September, to $64.08 per square foot in October, according to a market report by Colliers. This increase was the second-slowest month-to-month rise since June 2006. October also marked the highest vacancy rate in a year, up to 7.6 percent from 6.8 percent in September.
