1060 Fifth Ave. co-op sells for $46M

A co-op at 1060 Fifth Avenue has reportedly sold for $46 million, a
city record. The 17-room, seven-bedroom duplex penthouse will best
Rupert Murdoch’s record $44 million that he paid for his 834 Fifth
Avenue triplex in 2005. The buyer is hedge funder Scott Bommer and his
wife, Donya, a former TV anchor. The seller is Georgia Shreve, a poet
and writer. The buyer must combine the 13th-floor apartment and
penthouse unit upstairs.
