American Eagle signs big lease

American Eagle has leased 56,324 square feet of office space at 417
Fifth Avenue. It has taken all of the eighth and parts of the ninth and
tenth floors in the 410,000 foot, 11-story building. Its new Martin
& Osa retail division will take up much of the space. The company
will remain in 60,000 square feet of space across the street at 401
Fifth Avenue. A deal for a store at the former Howard Johnson’s site in
