Hamilton Heights, Bushwick/Bedford-Stuyvesant and Flatbush are the
three loudest neighborhoods in the city, according to complaints filed
with the city’s 311 Citizen Service Center. The Bronx’s Williamsbridge
and Wakefield sections were fourth on the list, with nearly 2,000
complaints made from July to November of 2007. The city received
135,589 complaints in the same period, a 13 percent increase from last
year. Residents blame house parties that charge illegal admission and
alcohol fees.
