Scottish government gives Trump a hand

The government of Scotland has approved Trump’s plan for a $2 billion
housing, hotel and golf course development, overturning last week’s
decision by a local Aberdeenshire Council committee to reject the
project because of environmental concerns. The Aberdeenshire Council
then held a meeting to affirm the Scottish government’s ruling and
remove the committee chairmen who blocked the project. Trump, whose
plans for the site include two golf courses, a golf academy and 500
homes, has garnered support from local businesses.
