Brooklyn expects a busy ’08

Brooklyn can expect plenty of big real estate controversies and
projects in the new year, among them: the rezoning battles in Coney
Island and Gowanus, the opening of an Ikea in Red Hook, the fight over
the Walentas’ 18-story Dock Street development near the Brooklyn
Bridge, and the debut of several smaller condominiums in Williamsburg
and the South Slope that might not sell well.
