High Line challenges work crews

Construction crews are braving the winter winds so that part of the
rusting High Line will open as a park this fall. Gusts of up to 40
miles per hour can shut down the mid-air, mile-long project, which cuts
through 10 developments, including Andre Balazs’ Standard Hotel at
Washington and Little West 12th Streets. Because the project runs
through a residential area, work must stop in off-hours and on weekends.
