Corcoran to ramp up Brooklyn presence 

The Corcoran Group plans to expand its presence in Williamsburg this year, after closing on 48 percent more condos and 45 percent more townhouses in Brooklyn in 2007 than the previous year. The firm’s year-end market report, which covered neighborhoods like Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope and Williamsburg, showed an 8 percent increase in the average price of a Brooklyn apartment in 2007.
