The $80-million, 55-acre North Haven property remains unsold a year after it was listed with Dolly Lenz of Prudential Douglas Elliman. The owner, Miami area resident Robert W. Rust, says he took it off the market after the listing expired, but Lenz says she’s still “exclusive agent.” While the listing is not on the company’s Web site, Lenz said she is “in negotiations” with a potential buyer. Rust complained that Elliman didn’t do enough to market the property, saying that during “the first six months of the contract they didn’t do anything.” Rust, a retired assistant U.S. attorney, says he wants to finish renovating buildings on the estate before re-listing the property.
