Big New Jersey development switching to rentals

The developers of a 447-unit project at the former Military Ocean Terminal at Bayonne, N.J. – now The Peninsula at Bayonne Harbor — say the softening housing market has led them to switch some of the units from condos to rentals. The change at the housing development, called Harbor Station North, must be approved by the Bayonne Local Redevelopment Authority.
