Work done throughout night at Court Street project

Carroll Gardens residents say something strange is going on into the wee hours at the Clarett Group’s development site at 340 Court Street. Workers have been seen tossing bags of debris off the roof past midnight, removing what some say is asbestos material. Tensions are already high with residents of the low-rise neighborhood, who once feared the six-to-seven story development would reach 21 stories. Last week, a neighbor on Union Street said digging at the site caused his building to shake enough to cause cracks in the walls.
