As worries about a possible recession cast a pall over New York City’s real estate market, Stribling & Associates’s well-heeled clientele can at least look forward to a relaxing evening of free classical music at Carnegie Hall.
In a novel thank-you to its clients and business associates, the high-end residential brokerage is hosting a Sunday night concert that features two notable young pianists.
“We are going through such difficult times — everyone talking about war — it’s a good to have a break to put the mind at ease and listen to good music,” said Cecilia Serrano, a Stribling vice president.
This will be Stribling’s third concert at Carnegie, and the second to feature up-and-coming musicians. This year, pianists Maria Yefimova and Julian Lawrence Gargiulo are on the bill.
The event has twice filled all 268 seats in the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Serrano said.
