Columbia buys Harlem building for $6M

Columbia University has purchased a commercial building at 555 West
125th Street for $6.25 million, according to public records posted
today. The building, also known as 1 Old Broadway, has 10,800 square
feet of retail space. Columbia is expanding north into Harlem and plans on building a new 17-acre campus there. Vickers Realty represented the seller. TRD
