Hedge-funder buys at 15CPW for $19M

Bruce Richards, CEO and president of Marathon Asset Management, has purchased unit 12A at 15 Central Park West for $19.36 million, according to city records. Richards founded Marathon in 1998 after working as a managing director at Smith Barney. Marathon, a global asset management company that specialize in global debt, equity and real estate, is based in New York City. Also listed on the deed was Avis Richards, founder and president of Birds Nest Productions, a visual media production company. TRD
