New Mets ballpark to resemble Ebbets Field

The combination of brick, granite and limestone at the Mets’ new Citi Field is meant to resemble the Brooklyn Dodgers’ old Ebbets Field. The ballpark’s emblem, created by design firm Lippincott, will be unveiled today at the Mets’ winter home in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
