Marge Pearson, DJK broker, dies at 70

Marge Pearson, vice president and manager of residential broker services at brokerage DJ Knight Residential, died on Feb. 25 from cancer. She was 70 years old.
 
Pearson launched Prudential Douglas Elliman’s rental division in 1991 and co-founded the Real Estate Board of New York’s rental committee in 1993.

James Conigliaro, DJK Residential’s general manager, said in a statement that Pearson was “a mentor, friend and an incredible professional.”

“We are grateful for the time she spent at DJK and the lasting mark of her integrity, knowledge and kindness,” he said.

Pearson, who worked in real estate for more than 30 years, joined DJK in 2000. She was awarded REBNY’s Henry Foster Lifetime Achievement Award in 2002.

Pearson is survived by her three children and eight grandchildren. TRD
