Architects look overseas for work

Architectural firm Costas Kondylis and Partners is expecting a 25 percent drop in revenue from U.S. projects this year, and is compensating by reaching out to foreign clients. The Manhattan-based firm of 120 architects is already working on projects in Kazakhstan, South Korea, Qatar, Russia and Turkey. In addition to international services, architecture firms are looking to the public sector for work on schools and hospitals.
