Metropolitan Life Insurance hasn’t even moved in at 1095 Sixth Avenue, but the company is already looking to sublease some of its space. Met Life occupies 410,000 square feet on 12 floors in the building, and has not announced how much space it will rent out, but brokers think it will be about 100,000 to 150,000 square feet. Asking rents in the building, owned by the Blackstone Group, are $125 to $150 per square foot. The Real Deal reported on subleasing in this month’s issue.
