Real estate group admits tax cheating

A New York real estate group pleaded guilty to commercial property tax fraud. Prosecutors said the 45 Realty Associates group cheated New York City out of about $180,000 over six years by filing false documents about the value of its Manhattan public parking garage. Because of a legal loophole, the company was fined only $20,000.
