Green hotel coming to Bowery

A 63-room green boutique hotel is planned for 250 Bowery between Houston and Prince streets, across from the New Museum. Peter Moore Associates plans a green roof, steel façade, geothermal system and other eco-friendly features. The hotel is slated to open in early 2009.
