After two decades on the market, Park Ave mansion sells

A townhouse at 603 Park Avenue has finally sold after being on and off the market for 20 years. In 1989, Sherman Cohen paid $12.5 million dollars for the Tuscan-columned, 100-foot-wide, 20-foot-deep, 25-room mansion and later re-listed it after his wife didn’t like it. Now, only 24 hours short of the 19 year anniversary of Cohen’s purchase, the mansion has finally gone into contract.
