A property owned by the reclusive William Gottlieb Management Company has reached a point that such properties rarely do: it will be sold. A brick townhouse in the West Village at 79 Horatio Street will be put up for public auction next month. Bidding for the five-story, 6,370-square-foot High Line area property is expected to start at about $5 million. A co-owner of the townhouse forced the Gottliebs, who own several crumbling properties, to sell.
