Newark steams over shuttered Starbucks

News that the Starbucks on Broad Street in downtown Newark will close has left the city’s boosters and caffeine addicts fuming. The coffeehouse had been a symbol of the downtown’s return to normalcy, and its opening had been attended by the mayor. The city has a few other Starbucks, but none as centrally located.
