Portman sells at Meier’s Village tower

Natalie Portman has listed her glassy West Village apartment at 165 Charles Street with an asking price of $6.55 million. She bought the unit in 2005 for $5.7 million. Dubbed as celebrity dorms, Richard Meier’s three glassy towers in the West Village have had a high turnover of big names. At 173 Perry Street, Paul McCartney’s ex-wife, Heather Mills, closed on a $5 million apartment.
