Glass falls from BOA tower

A glass panel fell more than 50 stories at the Bank of America tower at One Bryant Park. Two people suffered minor injuries and traffic was shut down. The panel was reportedly being fitted on the 51st floor of the 54-story tower. In October, glass and metal rained down after a steel bucket fell 53 stories down the side of the building. At the old Verizon building nearby, a 300-pound panel of glass fell in April.
