Post Properties to sell 2 rental buildings

Post Properties is trying to sell two luxury rental buildings in Manhattan and others across the country as it looks to raise cash. The two buildings, the 199-unit 389 East 89th Street and the 138-unit Post Luminaria at 385 First Avenue, would fetch about $250 million. Douglas Harmon of Eastdil Secured was hired to put them on the market. Harmon brokered the sale of the Apthorp for $426 million.
