The new Goldman Sachs headquarters has reached its full height at 200 West Street in Battery Park, cater-corner to 1 World Trade Center. Architect Henry Cobb led several other architectural firms in designing the 43-story, 2.1 million-square-foot building. The building faced zoning restrictions and was limited on how far it could extend southwest to preserve the World Financial Center’s river views. The southernmost part of the building was limited to 140 feet in height. The building tops off at 739 feet.
