Arguments over the eviction of Bianca Jagger from her rent-stabilized Park Avenue apartment are slated to begin this afternoon at the state’s Court of Appeals. Jagger, the ex-wife of Rolling Stone lead singer Mick Jagger, claims that she was using the apartment as her primary residence and Katz Park Avenue Corp. had no reason to refuse to renew her lease in February 2005. Katz, which has rented the apartment to a new tenant, argued that Jagger was a British citizen in the U.S. on a temporary visa, and under immigration law could not have a primary residence here.
