The 145-unit 56 Leonard Street condominium almost looks like a Jenga tower. Architects Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron are using cantilevers to create what they call “pixilated vertical layering” at the new Tribeca condo. Herzog and de Meuron also designed the interiors of the building, which include 12-foot glass doors that open onto private decks and floor-to-ceiling fireplaces.
