Toddler Nursery & Preschool, a multicultural early childhood center
which focuses on artistic, cultural and social development, has opened
a second
location in the city at the Nicole, a luxury rental building at 406 West 55th Street. The school, for children ages three months to five years old,
signed a 12.5-year lease for 7,200 square
feet on the ground floor of the building. The space can
accommodate up to 105 children, and the school said it is already 75
percent filled for
the 2008-2009 year. The first location on the
Upper West Side, at 100A West 89th Street, is at capacity with a 12- to
16-month wait list. The Nicole is owned and operated by the Gotham
