NYU buys Broadway building for $210M

NYU bought a 10-story building at 726 Broadway, between Waverly and
Washington places, for $210 million on December 1, according to city
records released today. The 350,000-square-foot building was previously
owned by the Guardian Life Insurance Company of America and was last
sold for $55.2 million in 1999. A NYU health center already occupies
two floors of the building.
