Asking prices down in co-ops

The median asking prices this year for Manhattan co-ops are down slightly compared to last year, but the drop is smaller than the city’s condo price decline. Upper Manhattan co-ops saw the largest median asking price drop of 6.31 percent, while Midtown, the Upper East Side and Upper West Side also saw price drops. Downtown Manhattan, however, saw the median asking price rise by 1.36 percent this year.
