On today’s WNYC radio show “The Brian Lehrer Show,” host Brian Lehrer talked to Steve Zeitlin, co-author of “Hidden New York: A Guide to Places that Matter,”
and to Brooks of Sheffield, the pseudonymous author of the blog Lost
City, on closed city establishments. They discussed well-known city buildings that have shuttered in 2008, including Yankee Stadium, Coney
Island’s Astroland, several Upper West Side cafes and even Lehman
Brothers.
