Brownstoner Projects has
leased ground floor space in Two Trees Management’s 76 Front Street in
Dumbo to operate a flea market called Pop-Up Flea: DUMBO. Brownstoner Projects,
made up of Brownstoner.com’s founder Jonathan Butler and Eric Demby, a fomer communications director for Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, operated
the outdoor Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene last spring, but the Pop-Up
Flea will be indoors in a 5,000-square-foot indoor marketplace with
room for 25 antique and vintage vendors. The market will be open on
weekends from January 10 through March 29. TRD
