Music composer and lyricist Cole Porter’s former apartment at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel is available for rent for $140,000 per month. Porter lived in the six-bedroom home from 1934 until 1964, when he died. Frank Sinatra also lived in the suite for $1 million a year, according to the book “The Waldorf-Astoria” by Ward Morehouse III. Meanwhile, Monster.com founder Andrew McKelvey’s estate has listed his 6,000-square-foot apartment at the Sovereign, at 425 East 58th Street, for $7.9 million. McKelvey died in November at age 74.
