Laurel gets designer sales office
The sales office at the Laurel has been built out and furnished by designer Ralph Pucci. In his interior designs, Pucci features artists and designers including Vladimir Kagan and India Mahdavi, whose furniture is currently on display in Pucci’s showroom, at 44 West 18th Street, between Fifth and Sixth avenues. The Laurel, developed by the Alexico Group, at 400 East 67th Street, is a 30-story condo with 129 units. Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is the exclusive sales and marketing agent on the project.
DJ rents in Gramercy
DJ and music producer John “Jellybean” Benitez, whose past clients include Billy Joel and Madonna, is taking 2,350 square feet of sublease space at 220 East 23rd Street, between Second and Third avenues. Adams & Co. Real Estate brokered the five-year lease. The asking rent was $38 per square foot. Benitez will be using the space as an office.
Fifty Franklin opens sales office
The Fifty Franklin sales office opened last weekend at 59 Franklin Street, between Broadway and Lafayette Street. The W Developers building, at 50 Franklin Street, also unveiled its facade. The 18-story condo, which has 72 units, will be ready for occupancy in the spring. Prudential Douglas Elliman is the exclusive sales and marketing agent for the project.
Halstead marketing Harlem condo
Halstead Development Marketing has been named the new exclusive marketing firm for Kalahari, a condo development at 40 West 116th Street in Harlem. The building, developed by L&M Equity, is 85 percent sold out, with prices ranging from $525,000 to $1.65 million.
211 East 51st Street hosts inauguration brunch
HJ Development’s 211 East 51st Street is holding an inauguration ceremony brunch at the on-site sales center. Residents, brokers and potential buyers are invited to the building on January 20th to watch Barack Obama be sworn in as the 44th president of the United States over brunch. The building, which recently started a brokers’ luncheon series, features 73 homes with prices between $665,000 and $5 million. TRD
