Bernard Madoff is currently under house arrest in his Upper East Side apartment, at 133 East 64th Street between Park and Lexington avenues, and the Post reports that his neighbors want to kick him out of the Upper East Side co-op. Madoff recently resigned as the co-op board president and sent letters to his neighbors apologizing for the “terrible inconvenience.” Meanwhile, Madoff’s niece, Shana Madoff, and her husband, Eric Swanson, put a $4.195 million bid on a condo at 170 East 77th Street, between Lexington and Third avenues, but withdrew the offer on December 11, the day Madoff was arrested, saying one of the bedrooms was too small.
