Another top property in Manhattan is seeing a price cut. The price of the 104-year-old Henry T.
Sloane Mansion, at 18 East 68th Street, has been cut from $64 million
to $54 million. Brown Harris Stevens’ Paula Del Nunzio has the
exclusive listing of the 19,300-square-foot home, between Fifth and
Madison avenues. The mansion was bought by developers in December 2003
for $7.6 million, and then sold for $20 million to the current owners,
an investment group managed by banker Joseph Ingrassia, in 2007.
The home has 15 bedrooms, 17 bathrooms and 11 fireplaces.
