Biggest price cut of the day

The unit with the biggest price cut in Manhattan today is a
four-bedroom, three-bath
triplex penthouse at 163 Charles Street, between Washington and West
streets. The
4,000-square-foot unit was cut by $1.5 million, and it is now listed at
$12.495 million, according to Streeteasy.com. This is the unit’s third
price
cut from its original listing of $15.5 million in October 2008.
Prudential
Douglas Elliman’s Darren Sukenik, Raphael DeNiro and his wife, Claudine DeNiro, and
are
listing the property. The building was developed by Barry Leistner,
and was designed by architect Daniel Goldner.

Meanwhile, the most expensive unit to come on the market
today is a $12.5 million duplex penthouse at 1 Central Park South, at Fifth Avenue. Brown
Harris Steven’s Elizabeth Lee Sample and Brenda Powers are listing the 2,656-square-foot condo,
