The unit with the biggest price cut today is a four-bedroom, five-bath
co-op at 1120 Park Avenue. The duplex, unit #2021A, is now listed at less than its
purchase price. The owners bought the unit in 2006 for $10 million, and
it is now listed at $9.75 million, according to Streeteasy.com. The
unit was originally put on the market a year ago this month at $11.5
million, and was cut to $10.75 million in October. Prudential Douglas
Elliman’s Jim Testa and Clif Thorn are listing the unit, which has five
terraces and two fireplaces.
Meanwhile, the most expensive unit to come on the market today is a
five-bedroom, four-bath co-op at 995 Fifth Avenue — the former
Stanhope Hotel designed by Rosario Candela — listed at $10.5 million.
The 4,357-square-foot unit is listed by the Corcoran’ Group’s Hilary Landis. TRD
