GowanusLounge.com founder dies

Robert Guskind, founder of the Brooklyn neighborhood blog
GowanusLounge.com, passed away yesterday, according to Only the Blog
Knows Brooklyn. Guskind, born in 1958, worked as a journalist in
Washington and New Jersey, and also worked for Curbed.com. Guskind
named His Blog After A Closed Bar On Union Street and Fifth Avenue.
Guskind told Louise Crawford of OTBKB that creating
GowanusLounge.com was a dream come true to finally invent his own
“newspaper.”
