Dumbo theater looking for new space

Dumbo theater St. Ann’s
Warehouse has to look for a new home since its 14,000-square-foot space is
scheduled to be turned into Two Trees’ Dock Street development, which was approved by the City Council yesterday. Susan Feldman, artistic director of the theater, said
David and Jed Walentas, who run Two Trees, will help them find a new space. Feldman said
the theater would like to move into the nearby Civil War-era Tobacco
Warehouse on the Brooklyn waterfront. The warehouse is a landmark
managed by the state agency in charge of parks and historic
preservation. Feldman said the theater is looking for a warehouse space
of 12,000 to 14,000 square feet in Brooklyn, but is also open to moving
to Manhattan.
