Muddy Waters, a coffee house, is slated to open today at 2185 Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard in Harlem. Bar Luna has opened at 511 Amsterdam Avenue, between 84th and 85th streets. Staples has signed a lease for 3,000 square feet at 315 Park Avenue South, near 25th Street, according to Craig Nassi, owner of the building. In Brooklyn, Cheesesteak Factory has opened at 157 Prospect Park Southwest in Windsor Terrace. The exterior work on the Walgreens coming to Coney Island Avenue and Avenue W in Sheepshead Bay, which will be the fifth Walgreens location in the area, appears to be almost done.
But as these projects progress, deli Broadway Delights, at 2144 Broadway between 75th and 76th streets, has reportedly closed. Andrew’s Coffee Shop, on 34th Street between Eighth and Ninth avenues, has closed. In Brooklyn, Panino’teca 275, at 275 Smith Street in Carroll Gardens, will close after serving this Sunday. TRD
