Barbara Corcoran, founder of the Corcoran Group, appeared last weekend on the first episode of ABC’s new reality show, “Shark Tank.” Corcoran is a member of the show’s panel of business professionals, who listen to presentations from owners of new businesses and decide whether or not to invest their own money in the new ventures. Corcoran chose to invest (spoiler alert!) in a pie company and in a device designed to help kids take their medicine. She mocked someone who suggested a procedure to implant Bluetooth-like devices in people’s brains. The next episode airs this Sunday at 9 p.m.
