Openings and closings: Uncle Charlie’s opens second location, Country Club closes

According to press releases sent today, a yet-to-be named wine bar has signed a 10.5-year lease at 434 Amsterdam Avenue and the Fulton Flea is returning from its hiatus on Sept. 27 at 650 Fulton Street near Lafayette Avenue in Fort Greene. In the West Village, a new “authentic Scottish establishment” will open in early October at 150 West 10th Street on the corner of Waverly Place. Babel Fair boutique is opening at 260 Elizabeth Street near East Houston Street. On the Lower East Side, Uncle Charlie’s, a gay piano bar, is opening a second location at 87 Ludlow Street near Delancey Street. In Williamsburg, EuroTrash Vending Truck has parked at 106 North 3rd Street near Berry Street. In Brooklyn Heights, Armando’s Ristorante is reopening at 143 Montague Street near Henry Street. After just a year, the Meatpacking spot Country Club at 248 West 14th Street near Eighth Avenue has closed.
